Frequently Asked Questions
When moving backwards, what happens when you reach Start?
You remain on Start. You can’t move further back than that. Please note, that your negative count still carries over to the next player. For example: If you’re on Start and you receive a - 2 card, you remain on start and don’t move further back. Then, let’s say, the next player draws a +2 card. They carry over your negative count (-2), add the amount on their card (+2) which equals zero. As a result they don’t get to move this turn either.
I drew a card with a 9, but the other players claim it’s a 6. Which one is it?
It’s a 6. In Sparkle Burn, 6 is the highest number. It was originally inspired by a standard, six-sided die. So if you think you have a 9, turn that card the other way around. We’ll be sure to add an underline in the production version!
